Ashley Morgan Zimmerman, an associate in the firm’s Cherry Hill, New Jersey office, concentrates her practice on workers’ compensation, family law, education law, and litigation.

Ashley represents both employees and employers in workers’ compensation matters in court and before the New Jersey Division of Workers’ Compensation. In the area of family law, she handles a variety of matters including divorce, custody, alimony, child support and other pre- and post-marriage issues. She also handles special education litigation, including assisting with emergent applications, mediation and settlement conferences, due process hearings and motion hearings.

Before joining the firm, Ashley was a law clerk to Hon. Michael J. Silvanio, J.S.C. where she drafted bench memorandums, final orders, and other legal documents for the Gloucester and Salem County Recovery Court. She also mediated small claims cases in the Special Civil Part as a certified court mediator.

Ashley received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Rowan University and her Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School. During law school, she held numerous leadership positions including President of the Student Bar Association, Managing Articles Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy; and Vice President of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. She was also a member of the National Trial Team. Ashley spoke at her law school commencement and received the Dean’s Service Award for her contributions to the law school and surrounding community.

As a law student, Ashley served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Timothy W. Chell, P.J.Cv. and as a legal extern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.

Ashley is actively involved in her hometown, Mantua, New Jersey. She previously served on the Mantua Township Board of Education and Mantua Township Land Use Board. She is a current Mantua Township Board of Health member.

She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and before the District of New Jersey and Eastern District of Pennsylvania Courts.
