John Edward Malchow is an associate attorney with Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor’s New Providence, New Jersey office. John works with the firm’s Education and Municipal Law Practice Group.
John is a native of Watchung, New Jersey, and received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. John was elected to the Watchung Board of Education in 2012 and earned a Master’s degree from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education in 2015.
While a student at Penn State Law, John interned with MidPenn Legal Services and helped to both plan and implement a legal education course at the Centre County Correctional Facility. Having been elected president of the student bar association and valedictorian of his class, John went on to a judicial clerkship with the Hon. Arthur L. Zulick of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas, where he assisted with a broad array of civil and criminal matters.
John then completed a clerkship with the Hon. Robert A. Ballard, Jr., of the Superior Court of New Jersey in the Somerset County Family Division. Prior to joining the firm, John represented clients throughout New Jersey as part of a boutique family practice in Somerville, New Jersey.
John is a member of the Somerset County Bar, Union County Bar, New Jersey State Bar, and the American Bar Associations.
