One at One: Bid Opening Requirements During COVID-19
Posted April 20, 2020
Today’s Issue:
Are there any changes to bid opening requirements?
Answer:
Bid openings are required to be public. Openings must be done in a location/manner that enables social distancing. The DLGS directs Boards to offer an online streaming service, in addition to the physical opening, not as a substitute. If the Board offers streaming, there’s no need to have a witness present. You should record/save it for OPRA purposes. You must give notice of the online live streaming.
