  • One at One: Delivering Bid Submissions During COVID-19

Today’s Issue:

What are the allowable methods of delivery for the submission of bids?

Answer:

The Department of Local Government Services (“DLGS”) recommends using a drop-off lockbox. Bidders can also submit bids through mail delivery service that provides certification of delivery. Until DLGS issues guidance allowing bids to be submitted electronically, if you require mail delivery, the bid date may need to be postponed to allow bidders additional time to submit bids. If so, an addendum must be issued with notice of the new date.
