  • One at One: Is New Jersey Superior Court Litigation Suspended During Crisis?

Today’s Issue:

Will New Jersey Superior Court civil litigation be indefinitely suspended?

Answer:

No. The New Jersey Superior Court has been conducting remote hearings for motions, arbitrations, and conferences. The discovery relaxation will end on May 10, 2020, and litigants are expected to use technological means to complete discovery in a timely fashion. However, jury trials remain suspended indefinitely.
