One at One: Paid Sick Leave & COVID-19
Posted April 29, 2020
Today’s Issue:
Can I require my employees to utilize accrued paid sick leave prior to utilizing the Emergency Paid Sick Leave created under the Family First Coronavirus Response Act?
Answer:
No. Employees may choose, and employers may permit, to supplement the emergency paid sick leave created under the Family First Coronavirus Response Act, with accrued leave, but employers may not require employees to first utilize accrued leave.
