One at One: Tort Claim Notices

Today’s Issue:

Is the time for serving Tort Claim Notices on public entities still tolled?

Answer:

No. The timeframe for service of Notices of Tort Claim was extended only through May 31, 2020. The Supreme Court has confirmed that the extension has concluded. Tort Claim Notices must, once again, be served within 90 days of the claim’s occurrence.
