Florio Perrucci School Law Group Sponsored the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Annual Workshop

The Education Law Group of Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor was once again a proud Gold Sponsor of the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Annual Workshop. The workshop is the largest training conference for school officials in the New Jersey. The event was held October 21st – October 24th at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Members of the Florio Perrucci Education Law Group presented several workshops over the course of the 4-day event addressing thousands of attendees from school districts all over New Jersey on topics related to this year’s theme: “Imagine Create Lead.”

Lester E. Taylor spoke at the Labor Relations Workshop on the topic “One Strike, You’re Out” addressing teacher strikes, work stoppages, and slow-downs. Christine A. Soto presented “LEAs, Are You Ready? How to Prepare When the State Monitors Federal Funds Expenditures.” She also presented “How NJ Schools Can Better Serve Their Growing Population of Special Needs Students.” And, Afshan Ajmiri Giner presented “HIB: See Something, Say Something, Do Something.”

Taylor says, “We are honored to again be a Gold Sponsor of the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Annual Workshop. We received positive feedback from the many attendees at the sessions where my colleagues and I presented.” Adds Soto, “Atlantic City was a blast.
