Lester E. Taylor Named as Willingboro Township Municipal Attorney

Lester Taylor and the law firm of Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor were appointed the Willingboro Township Council’s new solicitor. The announcement was made at the Council’s annual reorganization meeting on January 1, 2020. The Burlington County Times covered the reorganization meeting.

Taylor, a resident of East Orange, represents municipalities and boards of education throughout New Jersey in matters related to general counsel services, special education, litigation, labor, employment, and workers’ compensation. Taylor served as Mayor of the City of East Orange, New Jersey from 2014-2017. Taylor has received numerous awards and recognition from various civic organizations and often volunteers his time speaking with students on the importance of education and developing leadership skills. Currently, Taylor serves on the Board of Three Doctors Foundation, the Board of the United Way of Essex and West Hudson Counties, the Board of Sustainable Jersey, and the Board of Jersey Water Works. Taylor frequently attends and conducts legal seminars to stay abreast of changes in the law. He graduated from Montclair State University and earned his JD from Howard University School of Law.
