Afshan Ajmiri Giner, a Partner in the Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor New Providence office, has been named Co-Chair of the firm’s Education Law Group.
Lester Taylor, Chairman of the firm’s Education Law Group, says, “Afshan has proven to be an invaluable member of our education law team. Afshan Ajmiri Giner focuses her practice on education/school law, labor and employment, and representation of local governments/public entities. Before joining the firm, Ajmiri Giner worked at the New Jersey Department of Education and a boutique education law firm in New Jersey. She is a former law clerk to the Honorable Lourdes I. Santiago, J.S.C. (Ret.), Hudson Vicinage. Ajmiri Giner is an Alumni Mentor to current law students at Rutgers Law School, an Attorney Mentor for NJLEEP’s Constitutional Law and Debate Program in Newark, NJ, and the HBA-NJ’s American Dream Pipeline Program in Union City, NJ. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, School Law Committee; the New Jersey School Boards Association; the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey; and the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey. She received her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law – Newark and her B.A. from Brown University.
