Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor is proud to announce that Christopher J.  Buggy has been named Partner of the firm. He has been practicing law since 2013 and an Associate Attorney with the firm since 2021. Buggy concentrates his practice on civil litigation, education, and labor and employment.

Partner and Chair of the firm’s Education and School Law Practice Group, Lester Taylor, says, “Not only is Chris an excellent attorney who handles complex employment and civil litigation matters, but he also provides top-notch client service, mentors our younger attorneys, works tirelessly, and has a firm-first attitude. Buggy represents boards of education and other municipal and private entities in general counsel, labor and employment, and litigation matters. He regularly appears in State and Federal court on various complex civil litigation matters, including employee retaliation and discrimination lawsuits, CEPA and LAD claims, claims for lost or unpaid wages, and failure to train and supervise claims. Buggy also handles arbitration of disputes between public employers and collective bargaining units, and public entity disciplinary matters. Additionally, Buggy has extensive experience in litigation in State and Federal courts in New Jersey and New York, involving contract disputes, shareholder litigation, environmental insurance coverage, and bankruptcy matters. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law (cum laude), where he was an associate editor of the Seton Hall Law Review, and his undergraduate degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey – Newark (magna cum laude). He is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bar Associations.
