Heather Darling Joins Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor LLC

Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor LLC is pleased to announce that Heather Darling has joined the firm as Of Counsel.

Prior to joining the firm, Darling had her own practice, the Darling Law Firm, LLC located in Morris Plains, Morris County, New Jersey, where she handled a variety of matters including family law, business and commercial law, criminal law, and civil litigation. In addition to being Of Counsel to the firm, Darling is currently the Morris County Surrogate.

While I tend to my responsibilities as Morris County’s full-time probate court judge, my clients can be assured that their matters will be handled by my talented and caring colleagues.”

Darling, a resident of Roxbury, practices divorce and family law, civil litigation, and general business and corporate law, and outside of Morris County practices criminal law, DUI/DWI defense. She was a Morris County Freeholder from 2018 through 2019, a Deputy Director of the Freeholder Board in 2019, and began serving as the Morris County Surrogate beginning in 2020. Darling also has been heavily involved in community service within the Morris and Sussex County court systems and various other groups including the Roxbury Economic Development Committee, the Roxbury Zoning Board, the Morris County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Morris, local and County Chambers of Commerce, Rotary, the Elks Club, animal welfare, women’s rights and other organizations. She graduated from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. Darling is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Pennsylvania State Bar Association, American Bar Association and Morris County Bar Association.
