Lester Taylor, a Partner of Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor LLC, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Montclair State University Foundation.

“While a student at Montclair State University I had the opportunity to get a great education and serve as an admissions ambassador and participate in an externship program through the Washington Center’s Minority Leaders Fellowship Program. Joining the Foundation Board will allow me to further contribute to the University that gave me the educational and experiential platform to pursue my legal career,” says Taylor.

“The Foundation is excited to add someone with the talents and experience of Lester Taylor. As an alumnus, Lester understands the evolution of Montclair State University and its position as a leader in higher education in New Jersey. Lester’s strong ties to New Jersey and his legal background will provide key insights and perspectives to assist the Foundation in its growth,” says Mike Capone, Chair of the Montclair State University Foundation Board of Trustees.

Created in 1960, the Montclair State University Foundation receives contributions from alumni and business leaders, corporations, private foundations, and others engaged in the mission of Montclair State University and in educational philanthropy. The Foundation manages over 350 scholarship funds, as well as programs that expand teaching and student learning experiences. Funds managed include over 250 endowments with a value in excess of $80 million. Grants raised through the Foundation fund numerous worthy programs and support the University’s research designation in areas that impact society in so many ways.
