Lester E. Taylor, Partner with Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor, will speak at the WaterNow Alliance Virtual Summit entitled Tap into Resilience.  The Summit will take place virtually on April 6-8, 2021.  This year’s Summit is about accelerating sustainable water innovation to build safe, healthy and prosperous communities for everyone. Taylor will participate on a panel Going Big on Resilience: The Mid-Atlantic Model for Regional Green Collaboration at 12:30 PM – 1:45 PM on Thursday, April 8.  He will join other esteemed panelists including Randy E. Hayman, Esq., CEO/Commissioner of the Philadelphia Water Department, Steve Tambini, Executive Director of the Delaware River Basin Commission, Nathan Boon, Program Officer of the William Penn Foundation, Howard Neukrug, Executive Director of the University of Pennsylvania Water Center, and Patty Elkis, Director of Planning of the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.

The Delaware Basin is home to some of the nation’s thorniest water challenges; CSOs, aging infrastructure, lead service lines, degraded rivers and ecosystems – all against a backdrop of multi-state, multi-agency jurisdictions. This session brings together key players to delve into the extraordinary work taking place in the region to advance sustainable water strategies, including the unique watershed, collaborative approach to protecting water resources across the Delaware River Basin. Speakers will cover local green stormwater programs, success in addressing equity and affordability challenges, the importance of strong local water champions, innovative financing, and philanthropy to accelerate localized infrastructure and more.
