Ruby Khallouf is a Partner at our Easton office concentrating her practice in litigation.  She has extensive experience in employment, transportation and family law.  Ruby’s broad litigation practice allows her to provide practical and effective advice to clients.  She routinely appears in NJ and PA state and federal courts.

In the area of employment litigation, Ruby has defended employers against claims of wage and hour violations, discrimination, wrongful discharge and retaliation under both Federal and State law.  She also has experience providing employment advice to public entities.

In the public transportation industry, Ruby has significant experience handling Federal Employers’ Liability Act (“FELA”) claims, including allegations of unsafe work conditions, inadequate safety measures and operational negligence.  She also has considerable experience defending bus and rail tort claims for injuries and related damages allegedly sustained as a result of negligent operation and maintenance of bus or rail services.

As a member of the firm’s Divorce & Family Law practice group, Ruby represents clients in various family law matters including divorce, property distribution, child custody and parenting time, child support, paternity, alimony and domestic violence.  Ruby also has substantial courtroom experience in guardianship and civil commitment proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm, Ruby served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Bruce A. Jones, J.S.C. in the New Jersey Superior Court, Family Part.  During her Clerkship, Ruby served as a court-appointed mediator for family matters, as well as small claims and landlord/tenant matters.  While attending Villanova Law School, Ruby served as a Student Attorney with the Clinic for Asylum Refugee & Emigrant Services and interned with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General’s Division of Law in the Employment Counseling & Labor Section. She also served as Managing Editor of Student Works on the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. Ruby authored a Case Note which was published entitled, Michigan v. EPA: Money Matters When Deciding Whether to Regulate Power Plants, 27 Vill. Envtl. L.J. 275 (2016).

Ruby is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Warren County Bar Association. She is fluent in Arabic.
