  • Seth Tipton to Moderate Cannabis Law Program at the NJSBA Mid-Year Meeting

Seth R. Tipton, a Partner in the Bethlehem, PA office of Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor LLC, will co-moderate a panel discussion entitled Livin La Vida Loca: Update on Cannabis Law in New Jersey and Puerto Rico. With his co-moderator, Michael F. Schaff, Esq., they will lead a panel of distinguished New Jersey legislators – Senator Nicholas P. Scutari, Assemblyman Herb Conaway Jr. and Assemblywoman Annette Quijano, Goodwin Aldarondo, Esq. and Henry Rinder, CPA in a discussion about the legalization of cannabis. This program is part of the New State Bar Association’s Mid-Year Meeting which is being held November 6-10 in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. Tipton concentrates his practice in corporate law, health care law, real estate development and commercial lending. He is a leader in cannabis law, representing applicants for medical marijuana permits in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, guiding them on private capital raises, application requirements and real estate. He also counsels clients on all aspects of formation and compliance for cannabis companies. He is a member of the Warren County, New Jersey and Northampton County, Pennsylvania Bar Associations, and of the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association, and co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Cannabis Law Special Committee. Tipton earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his law degree from Rutgers School of Law-Newark.
