Florio Perrucci Sponsored the Sustainable Jersey Luncheon

Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor was a proud sponsor of the Sustainable Jersey Luncheon. Lester E. Taylor, Co-Chair of the Firm’s Education Law Group and Chair of the Development Committee for the Sustainable Jersey Board of Trustees, presented Kevin Kavanaugh, Vice President of Development for RPM Development Group, with the 2019 Sustainable Business Leadership Award. The luncheon was held November 19 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Over 400 regional government officials, green team members, industry professionals, and sustainability leaders were in attendance.

Taylor says, “Sustainability is not only the right thing to do, but it is the smart thing to do from a business perspective. It was my pleasure to recognize RPM Development Group’s proven commitment to sustainability with the 2019 Sustainable Business Leadership Award.”

Taylor, a resident of East Orange, represents boards of education throughout New Jersey in matters related to general counsel services, special education, litigation, labor, employment, and workers’ compensation. Taylor served as Mayor of the City of East Orange, New Jersey from 2014-2017. Taylor has received numerous awards and recognition from various civic organizations and often volunteers his time speaking with students on the importance of education and developing leadership skills. Currently, Taylor serves on the Board of Three Doctors Foundation, the Board of the United Way of Essex and West Hudson Counties, the Board of Sustainable Jersey, and the Board of Jersey Water Works. He served as a Trustee for the Northern Region of the New Jersey Association of School Attorneys. Taylor frequently attends and conducts legal seminars to stay abreast of changes in the law. He graduated from Montclair State University and earned his JD from Howard University School of Law.
