Seth Tipton, a Partner with Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor, was recently ranked 5th on Insider New Jersey’s 2022 The Insider 100: Cannabis Power List which is a tribute to politically influential voices in New Jersey’s cannabis movement. Seth R. Tipton is a partner in the Easton office and concentrates his practice on cannabis law, corporate law, real estate development, and commercial lending. Tipton represents applicants for cannabis permits in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey, guiding them on private business formation, capital raises, application requirements, legal and regulatory compliance, and real estate.  He is the immediate past co-chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Cannabis Law Special Committee. He also represents corporate clients in connection with formation, internal governance, and mergers and acquisitions, and has guided companies through digital auctions, preliminary negotiations, financing and closing of multi-million-dollar transactions. He also has experience with representing both lenders and developers in all phases of commercial real estate development, including guiding purchasers during due diligence, zoning, and planning applications, through to finalizing acquisition and construction loans. Prior to joining the firm, Seth served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ariel A. Rodriguez, Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Tipton is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the Warren County, New Jersey and the Northampton County, Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He graduated from Rutgers University, cum laude and Order of Coif, and received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law—Newark.
