• Represented a privately held hospital and ambulatory surgery center in a $50 million sale to a regional healthcare network
• Represented group practices in formation, governance and sale to healthcare networks
• Represented individual physicians in formation of practices, governance and sale of practices

Licensing and Compliance

• Represented hospitals and physician practice groups in investigations by the CMS Office of Inspector General, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the New Jersey Attorney General and the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs
• Advised hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers and individual physicians on a host of regulatory compliance issues including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Law and practice of medicine
• Represented healthcare entities in connection with government and private payor billing audits
