John Mininno, Of Counsel to the firm, is a member of the Florio Perrucci’s formidable litigation team. Working out of the firm’s Cherry Hill office, he is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Between 1993 and 2011, John was an accomplished trial attorney.  During that time, he earned the distinction of “Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney” which is an honor held by just a small percentage of New Jersey lawyers.  He successfully tried dozens of cases in New Jersey Superior Courts, United States District Courts, and the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia. As a young lawyer, John was twice accepted for admission to the American Trial Lawyers Association “Ultimate Trial Advocacy Course: The Art of Persuasion,” conducted at the Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he was mentored by many of the country’s top legal giants.

In 2011, John left the active practice of law to build a novel startup company– the NHCAGroup. Its mission: disrupt Medicare fraud, a billion-dollar criminal industry. In March 2016, techy “Wired” magazine featured John describing how his company used “data, algorithms, geeks and analytics to troll a ‘treasure trove’ of newly available Medicare billing data.” The feature went on to conclude that his platform transformed a “long-odds game into a target-rich discovery process with gumshoe work on the back end to successfully identify likely fraudsters.” Operating the company provided him with an opportunity to collaborate with great lawyers on complex cases in courtrooms across the country.  During his 10-year entrepreneurial run, taxpayers recouped close to a billion dollars from the cases he helped initiate. He also developed and still maintains deep relationships to a national network of top legal talent.

John graduated from West Chester University with his bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and attended law school at Rutgers University in Camden, NJ. He graduated from Rutgers Law, with Honors, in 1993. In 2012, John was admitted into West Chester University’s Athletic Hall of Fame for his unmatched achievements as starting linebacker and team captain for the West Chester Golden Rams.

John was born in South Jersey and lived as young child in the Fairview section of Camden in Camden County, New Jersey. His family later moved to Middlesex County in central New Jersey where he attended grade school and high school.
