Ruth A. Laryea

Ruth A. Laryea is an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate, Corporate & Business, and Cannabis Practice Groups.

Ruth has extensive experience guiding clients through complex real estate transactions, from initial negotiations and due diligence to the successful closing of deals. Her real estate practice includes the drafting of lease agreements, real estate purchase and sale agreements, construction contracts, and construction financing and loan documents.

In her corporate practice, Ruth provides comprehensive legal services throughout the entire lifecycle of a company, from formation to dissolution. She advises a diverse clientele that includes startups, established businesses, and serial entrepreneurs. Ruth’s expertise encompasses corporate governance, organizational structuring, joint ventures, and a wide array of transactional matters. Her strategic counsel and proficiency in drafting and negotiating agreements ensure that her clients’ business operations are legally sound and strategically aligned with their goals.

Ruth earned her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark, where she distinguished herself through numerous honors and achievements. She served as Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Review and was an active member of the Moot Court Board, where she won the Best Brief award in the Baker Trial Competition. Following her graduation, Ruth was selected for the prestigious Rutgers Research Fellowship, where she conducted in-depth research on policy initiatives aimed at educational reform. She earned her B.A. in Economics from Drew University.

Ruth is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
