On Monday, January 11, at 4:00 p.m., Adrienne L. Isacoff, Of Counsel served as a Judge for The Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition.

The New Jersey State Bar Foundation sponsors this competition annually in cooperation with New Jersey’s 21 County Bar Associations and the New Jersey State Bar Association. As a public education service, the Foundation provides a workbook with complete competition information for contestants as well as a mock trial instructional video. Teams are matched with attorneys who volunteer to work with teachers and students in preparation of their cases. Students compete initially at the county level. County champions continue at the regional level, and regional winners vie for the semifinals and ultimately the statewide championship finals. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, trials are being conducted online this year.

Isacoff is Of Counsel in the Firm’s New Providence, serving as Co-Chair of the Construction and Public Contracting Group. She focuses on public, commercial and hi-end residential construction contracts, public contracting and procurement, as well as on her active dispute resolution practice. Isacoff is Legal Counsel to the Utility & Transportation Contractors Association of NJ and an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on construction and related disputes, where she also provides mediation services. She is past Co-Chair of the NJSBA Construction Law Section, current Co-Chair of the Bergen County Bar Association Construction Law Committee and is a member of the NJSBA Dispute Resolution Section and the Women’s Construction Initiative NYC. Isacoff currently serves as the Secretary and Education Committee Chair of the Closter Democratic Club. She was selected as a Fellow in the Construction Lawyers Society of America, and is a selectee by Super Lawyers for 2018, 2019 and 2020 in the field of alternate dispute resolution. Isacoff is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. She graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
