Lou Cappelli, Jr, Director of the Camden County Board of Commissioners and Managing Partner in the Cherry Hill office at Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor, will be honored for his work on the Camden County Addiction Task Force. Cappelli will be recognized along with Dominic Vesper Jr., Camden County Deputy County Administrator, at the Maryville Addiction Treatment Center Recovery for Life Gala on April 1st, from 6-10 pm at Tavistock Country Club. Proceeds from the gala will benefit Maryville’s mission to provide comprehensive, high-quality drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring treatment services for individuals and families affected by the disease of addiction.

Camden County Addiction Task Force was created in 2014 and is charged with increasing awareness of prescription opiate and heroin abuse and addiction, aimed at reducing the demand for heroin and prescription drugs. Under their leadership, the task force provides community education and training, as well as innovative programs aimed at transforming lives.

Lou Cappelli, Jr, Managing Partner in the Cherry Hill office at Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor, has extensive experience in education, governmental and regulatory affairs, labor, lobbying, real estate, family and personal injury law.  Cappelli currently serves as Director of the Camden County Board of Commissioners. He has served as a Commissioner since 2002 and as a Director since 2006. He previously served as a member of the Board of Commissioners in the Borough of Collingswood and as a member of the Collingswood Board of Education. Cappelli also serves as a member of the Board of the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Cappelli received his B.S. from Albright College and earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law – Camden.
