Nicholas Sullivan Published Utility & Transportation Contractor Magazine

Nicholas Sullivan, an attorney with Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor LLC, was published in the April 2021 edition of Utility & Transportation Contractor. This is the official publication of the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey or UTCA. The article discussed the issues surrounding federal construction contracts for small businesses. Specifically, Nick reviewed the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the principle set of rules regarding the federal procurement process in the United States. Among the multiple important topics for federal procurements, he discussed the definition of a small business concern and penalties for a company who misrepresents itself during the procurement process. About the UTCA

The Utility and Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey is a non-profit trade association headquartered in Wall Township, New Jersey. Founded in 1965, UTCA represents approximately 1,000 member firms in the public and private sectors, active in all phases of heavy, highway, utility, and marine construction, as well as site work including remediation of brownfields and contaminated sites.
