Benjamin Slovin

Benjamin Slovin is an associate in the firm’s Cherry Hill, New Jersey office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Rutgers University – New Brunswick, where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Matthew Leydt Society, Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society, and Gamma Sigma Alpha Greek Academic Honor Society. Benjamin subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Camden, where he graduated magna cum laude and earned the Merit Scholarship Award, Richard L. Barbour, Jr. Memorial Award, and Certificate in Criminal Law and Procedure. He was also welcomed into the Order of the Coif.

While in law school, Benjamin served as a Staff Editor as well as an Executive Editor for the Rutgers University Law Review, which published his student note, Drug Addiction in New Jersey: Community-Based Treatment as a Viable Alternative to Drug Court, in Volume 74.2. Throughout his law school career, Benjamin interned with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General – Division of Criminal Justice, United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and Brown & Connery, LLP.

Prior to joining the firm, Benjamin served as a law clerk for the Honorable David M. Ragonese, J.S.C. in the Criminal Part of the New Jersey Superior Court – Law Division. Benjamin also gained invaluable courtroom experience prosecuting various types of criminal and juvenile matters as an Assistant Camden County Prosecutor.

Outside of work, Benjamin enjoys golfing, watching Philadelphia sports,  spending time with friends and family, and working on house projects.

Benjamin is licensed to practice in New Jersey.
