Craig P. Bossong

Craig P. Bossong is a Partner in the New Providence office and concentrates his practice in municipal law including OPRA requests and litigation, land use, real estate tax appeals, workers’ compensation, government affairs, and election law.

Craig represents both public and private clients in the prosecution and defense of tax appeals both at the county level and state tax court level, as well as land use and zoning matters before numerous planning and zoning boards.

Craig has also served as planning board and zoning board of adjustment attorney for numerous municipalities and serves as defense counsel on workers’ compensation matters. He is also currently the Borough Attorney for the Boroughs of Waldwick and Bogota and is the Planning Board Attorney for the Borough of Edgewater, and the Township of Secaucus. He has also served as Planning Board Attorney for the Borough of North Arlington.

Craig also handles election law contribution compliance for numerous private clients and municipal entities. In such capacity, he assists clients in navigating the complex contribution statutes, disclosures, and regulations.

He has been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer Rising Star every year from 2012 to 2016. He was recognized among the New Leaders of the Bar for 2017 by New Jersey Law Journal.

He currently serves on the New Jersey State Bar Association General Council and as Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee, Membership and Golf and Tennis Outing Committee for the Bergen County Bar Association. Craig is a Trustee of the Bergen County Bar Association as well as a Trustee of the Bergen County Bar Foundation.

Additionally, he is a member of the land use and municipal law committees of the Bergen County Bar Association. Craig also coordinates the annual Toys for Tots drive on behalf of the Bergen County Bar Foundation.
