Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor LLC Welcomes New Attorneys

Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor LLC welcomes three new associate attorneys – Christopher J. Buggy, Andrew R. Churchill, and David J. Kass.

Buggy concentrates his practice in civil litigation, education, and labor and employment in the firm’s New Providence office.  Churchill is in the Civil Litigation Practice Group at the Phillipsburg office. Kass works with the firm’s Education and Municipal Law Practice Group out of the New Providence office.

Christopher J. Buggy has appeared in State and Federal courts on various civil litigation lawsuits in New Jersey and New York, including contract disputes, shareholder litigation, and bankruptcy matters. He graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. He received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Seton Hall Law Review.  After graduating from law school, Buggy worked as an associate at a law firm in Roseland, New Jersey, practicing general civil litigation. He is a member of the New Jersey and New York State Bar Associations.

Andrew R. Churchill is a Rutgers Law School – Newark graduate and received his bachelor’s degree from Moravian College. While in law school, Andrew worked in the Education and Health Law Clinic and was a member of the Moot Court Board. Andrew clerked for the Honorable Regina Caulfield, P.J.Cr., in the Union County Superior Court. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.

David J. Kass received his bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. While at Brooklyn Law School, he served as a Student Attorney for the Disability & Civil Rights Clinic and interned with the New York County District Attorney’s Office. He also served as an Articles Editor on Brooklyn Law Review. Before joining the firm, he served as a Law Clerk in the Morris-Sussex Vicinage for the Hon. Stuart A. Minkowitz, A.J.S.C, and the Hon. Maritza Berdote Byrne, P.J.Ch. Kass also assisted the Hon. Stephan C. Hansbury, J.S.C. (ret., temporarily assigned on recall) during his tenure with the Superior Court. He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar.
