Emily R. Paulus is an Associate in the firm’s Bethlehem office. Emily focuses her practice in the areas of corporate law, commercial lending and real estate development. She also has experience in other areas of civil litigation, including labor and employment law, and higher education law.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily worked for a large law firm based out of Philadelphia, PA. Emily has secured dismissal of claims on motions to dismiss and on motions for summary judgment in federal court. She also has experience responding to charges and complaints filed with administrative agencies, including the EEOC and PHRC.
Emily began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Arthur L. Zulick of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas. Emily assisted with a variety of civil cases, including medical malpractice, land use/zoning, mortgage foreclosure and personal injury matters.
While attending law school at Villanova, Emily interned with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in the Northeast and Southeast Regional offices, and the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance in Philadelphia. She also served as a symposium editor for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal, earning the David G. Butterworth Editor Award for her dedication to the journal.
Emily is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Lehigh County Bar Association and Monroe County Bar Association.
