Here at FPSCTT, we routinely provide our clients counsel and advice on a myriad of complex issues. The diversity of our practice group, coupled with the Firm’s wide-range of experience in other practice areas, enables us to address and to advise our education clients on matters from special education and related services, Section 504 plans, discipline and harassment, intimidation and bullying, to labor and employment matters, including tenure hearings and increment withholdings, collective negotiations, arbitrations, unfair practice charges and harassment and disability claims. We also routinely provide our clients advice on matters related to insurance coverage, the Open Public Records Act, public contracting, municipal zoning, environmental issues, construction projects and personal injury.

For our public-school clients, we work closely with the Board of Education while at the same time working with the Superintendent and other school staff to protect and further the District’s interests. FPSCTT has an established presence in New Jersey representing or having represented the following Districts and institutions of higher learning: Brick Township Board of Education, Camden City Board of Education, Elizabeth Board of Education, Englewood Board of Education, Gloucester County Special Services School District, Gloucester County Vocational-Technical School District, Hackensack Board of Education, Jersey City Public Schools, Long Branch Board of Education, Middletown Township Public Schools, Newark Public Schools, Paterson Board of Education, Phillipsburg Board of Education, Plainfield Board of Education, Union Township Public Schools, Union County Vocational-Technical Schools, Warren County Special Services School District, West New York Board of Education, Willingboro Township Board of Education. We have also represented a number of New Jersey’s colleges and universities including Bergen County Community College, Essex County College, Kean University, Stockton University and Warren County Community College.

To further complement our legal and subject matter expertise, several of our attorneys serve, and have served, at the highest level of New Jersey State and local government. As a result, we understand the nuances of dealing with multiple stakeholders, interest groups, and governmental departments and agencies.
